"On a snowy Monday night, I was definitely ready to just stay in. But lucky for me, my dear neighbour ZB encouraged a walk to Masseria, to try their Crudo pizza made right in front of us. We had a choice of regular, gluten-free or...Carbone vegetable carbon made into the dough), with buttery-soft, hand-shaved prosciutto. The manager, Richard, told us it is aged months. So delicious and baked in a wood-fired oven. Arugula balances the pizza. Communal length tables and a communal round table in front. To get in takes us up steps. Too narrow and high for mobility devices, if challenged. Washrooms are on the same level. Pristine marble is on the tables and the work area for staff. Would definitely recommend this and will be back to try other pizzas."

"Visited Piano Piano with a few friends one Thursday evening we had reservations in advance so we were seated right away. Staff was really friendly, service was solid. Atmosphere was very welcoming, aesthetics were really nice. Ordered a fun guy pizza (vegetarian) to split which was really delicious as well as ordering the egg yolk ravioli which was really good and had a really nice presentation on the plate wish there was a 3rd ravioli though (only comes with 2). Price . Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the Spadina area!"

"The Toronto Star ran a positive review of Mattachioni this week, so I was eager to try it out. We two ordered a starter plate, which was adequate, but meager in size. The addition of excellent olive oil for dipping the wonderfully fresh and tasty bread was appreciated. We waited an hour for the pizza.....Napoli which is garlic, basil, mozzarella, olives, anchovies and tomato sauce. There was very little of everything!! Mostly crust, but agreeably the best crust I've ever tasted. What is this chintziness all about???!!! The overall flavour was pale other than for the anchovies, which speak for themselves. The tomato sauce was good, but there was too little of it to really enjoy the flavour. Garlic?! Did they forget to add it?This establishment has been running for two years. By now, the owner ought to have figured it out. Bread dough with whispers of toppings just don't cut it for pizza lovers. I grow basil, six varieties. It grows like a weed, and yet on this pizza there was less than the equivalent of one leaf."

"Cozy interior, delicious food from salad to main course. Great service and friendly staff but I would say it is pricey. Lamb chops is really great, try fries with feta aioli if you like feta. Salad is also really nice. The air conditioning system could use some help though."
