"On the occasion of a family-proof, we have fed with 9 people in the castle restaurant, two children included. the teller felt like a beer lid and the childlike knight dinner(scarving with pommes) was too small for their taste with too little ketchup. the salat bowl mentioned above was sometimes too big for the adult, as was the main dish. my choice: filet vom saibling an passionsfruit with vanilla risotto and kefen, vorweg spargelcremesuppe in the potchen. manko: some olive oil or some screed to the served brot, a greeting from the kitchen in front. at the prices (menu of 86-110SFR) you would expect a little more. excellent wines from the Austrian home of the wetin."

"Every day there are 2 menus, one with meat and one vegetarian. the meat originates from a small metzgerei in the aopenzellerland the vegetables always fresh and seasonal. fits you once the day-menue not there is as an alternative e.g. one of the best lasagne of the city with meat or only with vegetables. the pastry products come from the small and very well-known producer aemisegger St.Gallen.A very cozy, locally beautiful backyard garden of a small dining room with 4 tables and the beautiful saeli in the upper floor. great ambiente and accommodating service. absolutely try."
