"Sorry , didn't have my phone for photo but the pumpkin gnocchi is the best gnocci I have ever eaten, including servings from a Michelin restaurant. Then the best lamb rack also the best. Perfectly cooked , delightful sauce in a puree of polenta and crumb which added texture and flavour. Beautifully rendered and cooked and so flavoursome I took tlo my fingers and gnawed to the bone. Classy hey! The name bar and bistro understates the quality of the food. I even went back for a second night. Couldn't help myself."

"Cafe Mondello, an oldie but a consistent goodie in the area. My local for many years, and never a bad coffee. The Chefs Paul and James are willing to accommodate any dietary requests or menu queries within reason. Try the Poached Pears, or Black Beans dish for a flavour bomb!"

"Food was just nice. Nothing too exciting. We were sold out of some of the entrees by our wait staff and then felt disappointed when our serves were very small. We ordered drinks to pair with our mains but unfortunately they came to our table 25 minutes after we had finished. Maybe they were understaffed. I would come back but not for a while."

"Absolutely brilliant. All the food was so fresh with neat, clean flavours and beautifully put together combinations. I wish we had found this restaurant before our last night in Launceston! Really lovely staff too. Can't recommend it highly enough."
