"This location has a few bar seats on the ground floor, but I didn’t go downstairs to see what the situation was there. Restrooms are also on the ground floor around the corner from the counter. There seemed to be only one staff member there on a Sunday afternoon, so service was a bit slower than you’d expect since she had to handle customers ordering both inside and outside the store. But she got to us eventually. I went with the classic soy soft serve, which came with a cone. (I forgot to ask her to put it in a cup instead since I’m avoiding gluten right now. I also ordered the optional add-on of a glass of grass jelly soy milk, which came in a glass mug and with a spoon. She cautioned that by ordering it unsweetened, it would be completely devoid of sugar, but I was perfectly okay with that since the soft serve was sweet enough. My friend enjoyed her affogato, and she thought it was similar to Soypresso’s except that they use disposable plastic cups. So Soy Bean Desserts is more zero-waste friendly. Great option in the area for a refreshing dessert in the summer time!"
