"This was our second visit to Pink Peppercorn and it was every bit as good as the first time. We had salmon wellington, prawns and scallops and a special halibut dish, all cooked to perfection and great tasting. The food is great, the portions large and the service is superb."

"1 star is generous. The decor of this place needs to be seen to be believed. Why paint a beautiful beachfront restaurant dark red? What were they thinking? To say the place needs TLC is an understatement, this restaurant reeks of under investment: great location, bored staff, awful service, tired music, clientele looking as uninterested as the owners. The food is actually decent, fresh fish with simple trimmings and a decent B.C. wine list. But, the ambience is depressed, desperate and depressing. Our hostess kept us waiting on the grim entrance stairs for 10 minutes before escorting us to a half empty restaurant. Our server arrived after 10 minutes apologise for having been busy. She was sweet, but the venue is lost. Sorting this out wouldn't be hard, for now avoid"

"Last month when my friends came to visit me, we decided to try this most popular spot in downtown Vancouver. The place is nice looking, inviting, community tables, some high tops, good amount of bar seating and great window seats to people watch.<br/ <br/ As for our main course, we got the Red Wine Braised Beef Short Rib and the Blackened Steelhead Trout. Both were very good and we switched entrees again and again so we could get a little of each. For the appetizers, we ordered the Beet Bresaola Salad and Classic Poutine. Both were nice with beer and wine too.<br/ <br/ Overall, we had a wonderful meal, the service is great with the staff being friendly, knowledgeable about the food, quick on getting you drinks and bringing out your food and clearing up. We were enjoying in this restaurant and must visit it again."

"Not my choice for poke, would not recommend this place, especially with so many great poke options in Vancouver! I took my boyfriend here because we didn't want to go into downtown, I was really disappointed because it was his first poke experience, and they were really stinjy with their portions and toppings. They only give you 3 or 4 toppings for free, they charge for extras that should be basic and barely give you a scoop of tuna/salmon. The server actually filled a scoop up and took some out of it because it seemed too full... okay? Luckily I took my bf to the Poke Guy on Richards and now he knows why I'm obsessed with poke!My advice: walk/drive/bike the few extra mins to the Poke Guy on Richards, unlimited toppings, generous scoops... you won't be disappointed!!"
