"The service was fast and our server was pleasant. I ordered the Pepperoni pizza and it was fantastic. And I think it's great that you can get a flight of beer so you can taste 3 or 6 times. Hydraulic Hearth is one of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo."

"With a visit to the family outside the city and one please for pasta we have made our way to gigis cucina povera for a Sunday dinner. there were several of us sitting on a very comfortable round table so that 4 bottles of wein together with some arancini (risotto balls and mozzarella) and clam casino were ordered. I preferred the clams casino that was perfectly baked and not chewing at all. the other family members enjoyed the arancini, but I found them a bit too easy for my taste. to go to dinner, I asked for a recommendation and the server beat spaghetti carbonara. it was fantastic! I loved the creamy sauce that was created by the butter and the ice and there was the perfect thing with pancetta gave the dish a rich taste. I tried some of the linguini con bygole of my brother (yes I enjoy fresh whistles) and the white mussel sauce was delicious with a perfect amount of mussel juice and garlic, so that the aromes are mixed together and not overdoing. I scanned the ribbed eye and enjoyed the rosmarin and sea salt twist until cut. it was asked to do medium, and that is exactly how it was prepared – no complaining there. the whole evening meal was pleasant and the staff was extremely attentive. we finished the meal with their homemade limoncello. it was so delicious that we ordered a bottle. we are already planning a return in the holiday season!"

"Always a good stop. Staff is very professional and courteous. Great Menu. However, our fish meal (fish and chips) was not thoroughly cooked. My husband nor I enjoyed/completed our meals. But our grandson devoured his hamburger and sweet potatoe fries. Plus the fries were unlimited."

"We love this place, we come almost every time we are in buffalo. the cheese and spice appetizer is so good. the pizzas are always so fresh and tasty. the personal is always friendly and goes beyond and beyond. can not recommend pie zano enough!"

"Service was fine and the beer was fine but don 't bother with the food...Went on a Friday at 7pm and there was literally no one there, which should have been the first clue, since every other place on hertel was packed. Ordered a Friday fish fry which we 've enjoyed here in the past. 10 minutes later, bartender comes back and says 'i guess we don 't have fish today . It 's a Friday in Buffalo how do you not have fish or let the staff know you don 't have fish. Ended up with a roast beef sandwich which was dry and overcooked, asked for horseradish we don 't have horseradish . I 'd say drinks only here but I mean just go to Moor Room."
