"We have visited Shoeless Joe's twice this week while on a business trip. Both times the service was mediocre at best. We went there for lunch and we ordered relatively simple foods. Two out of three of us got the food 10 minutes before the last person got their meal . The only reason we went back a second time was we were working very late and it was the only place open. Again the service was mediocre . The food is your typical sports bar fair. The french fries were very good. The hamburgers were so-so. It took three requests for a glass of water before our server finally brought the water we requested. There is a decent collection of beers on tap. I probably will never return unless it's late at night and it's the only place open."

"Ate here with my husband after we did some shopping and we had the calamari, wings, and shepherd's pie. The alcoholic drinks we had were called Blue Line and Flower Power. The Blue Line wasn't as flavourful a as the Flower Power. The calamari were pretty good and came with aioli sauce and sweet chili sauce. The wings came with fries and the usual carrots and celery. I went with the smoky chipotle BBQ sauce. The sauce is supposed to be medium heat but I found it to be mild at best - it was still delicious though! My husband's shepherd's pie was very flavourful. Our server, Paulina, was very attentive and friendly. The big TVs everywhere showed various sports games and there was a pool table but they weren't distracting at all. We'll definitely be coming back."

"We were happy to hear this location was open again after being closed during the COVID pandemic! We went to celebrate our 27th Anniversary and it was AMAZING! We have been here many times and it’s always been good...but this time was superb! The service...by Dana, our waitress was great. She was friendly and attentive. The food was literally the beat we’ve ever had here!! Super fresh and tasty! Chantal (hope spelling is right the manager, came over to see how everything’s was, which was sweet. She was very friendly as well : The dessert “the cookie”. Is TO DIE FOR!!!! AMAAAAZING! The patio was so beautiful and relaxing . You don’t even notice you are near a street. We just had the best night! Thanks so much guys, we will see you again very soon :"

"Downtown Hamilton location with great atmosphere and excellent food. There were three of us for lunch mid week. Our server was very attentive and informed us that the menu was new this week, and does change every week or so depending on local ingredients, and the creativity of the chef/owner. We sat in a cozy window seat near the woodburning pizza oven. With difficulty deciding, we opted to order three different menu items and share. The margarita pizza was delicious and fresh with basil and homemade sauce. Fabulous crust, thin, but not overcooked. Done to perfection. We also shared the parradelle pasta (may be spelled wrong)! which was a broad noodle made fresh that day. Again delicious. If you were having this as a main dish, the serving seemed small for the $$, but was certainly worth the taste. Lastly we also shared a wonderful beet, quinoa, greens, pumpkin seeds, etc etc. salad. The dressing was light with a bit of citrus. Very good. In all we enjoyed everything and would recommend Born and Raised and will go back again."

"Great opportunity to try a wide selection of craft beers; most enjoyable. Dined up stairs. Appetizers (calamari and slow roasted ribs - fall off the bone excellence) started off the evening. The New Kids and the Block paired well with the MANITOULIN RAINBOW TROUT. As well, the schnitzel is a house favourite. Busy evening would recommend reservations."

"I recently tried this place for the first time and ended up going here 3 times in a span of 2 weeks. It was really good every time and has now become my go-to.Tried there Cheese Margherita and Meat Lover pizza the first time I went there. (Pictures are from the first take out). The pizzas were amazing. I added oregano to the Meat Lover and chilli flakes to the Margharita. They were both great. The ingredients are of good quality and the dough tastes great with that woody flavor and crispness.During the next 2 visits, I tried their Buffalo chicken on qualiflower dough and wild pepperoni. They both tasted great. The qualiflower dough is great and tastes similar to regular dough but I would stick to the regular dough everytime just because the regular dough is too good. Also, their lemon pepper aioli is great too.I tried their sausage and pepper pasta which was good but I will stick to the pizzas as they are really really good.Tip: add the oregano to every pizza and maybe the chilli peppers if you are ok with the spice. It is not that spicy but has a great flavor and a slight kick.This place is decently priced."
