"Well worth every penny spent on first visit to Hakkaido Ramen Santouka at 558 W Broadway in Vancouver's Fairview / Hospital district on busy block near Cambie Skytain station on the Canada Line.Destination restaurant, yes it's ramen...but at a level exceeding most others, anywhere.Deep flavoured broth, delicious ramen, generous portions of meat and veg in my special bowl. FOOD is the star, service functional only, don't expect much interaction / character...clean surrounds, tidy, semi open kitchen, watch the industrial type prep goin on.seriously good ramen and highest marks"

"Came here on a Saturday around 11:50am and it's already packed so highly recommend to come early if you don't want to wait in line. I've been here numerous times and it never disappoints! Got the deluxe nagoya mazesoba, which came with two pieces of seaweed, two pieces of chashu and an egg, in addition to what's included in the original nagoya mazesoba. Very delicious! The noodle is chewy and the sauce is very flavorful but not overly salty! They also have a wide selection of appetizers such as takoyaki and tofu dishes! It's in a large plaza with plenty of parking!"

"My daughter and I went to a local ramen place in Austin, Ramen Tasu-ya for ramen. There were a lot of people there and seating was limited. You entered the restaurant, went through a lime to order you food, and waited for them to call your name. In the meantime, you looked for a table to sit at. I’m not sure what I had, but it was good."

"Phenomenal. Gaby was awesome, friendly, inviting and very informative. Chef was running food to a different table and came by on his way back to the kitchen to clear my bar area and make sure I enjoyed everything, amazing experience as always. Food outstanding. Staff had excellent suggestions and I love the small quaint atmosphere. I will Be back next week for sure!!"

"We got the monster ramen, the picture made it look like a lot of meat but there was not a lot of meat and meat was dry. It wasn’t the best ramen but it was okay. Definitely satisfied my ramen craving. Service and atmosphere was great. Workers there were nice."
