"THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFICALLY ABOUT THE HOTEL, NOT THE BAR: DO NOT STAY HERE. We stayed for one night and I wouldn't do it again. We got locked in our room from the inside due to a faulty lock. After being locked in for about 5 minutes, I made multiple calls to the front desk, but no one was working the front desk (this was at around 8 pm, so not super late).The only reason we made it out was because someone walking by our room heard us yelling for help, and was nice enough to unlock our door from the outside of the room when I slid the key under the door. Who knows how long we would've been stuck in there if we hadn't received help. I went down to the desk to find no one working, which then required me to go to the bar for help. After telling the bartender about my problem, she couldn't seem to care less, telling me that she was busy with getting customers shots, but would help me out when she could. After waiting for another 10 minutes, I went back to the bar and she finally sent one of the hotel employees over (who was sitting at the bar) to assist me with my problem. They were nice enough to set me up with a different room that had properly operating locks. TLDR: this hotel has horrible customer service. Do not stay here. It's more of a bar than it is a hotel. PS: the showers and bathrooms are separate from the rooms. They are locked by only a keypad that every guest has the code to."

"This was a cute coffee shop/cafe with a nice outdoor seating area. We had two delicious coffees: a Maple Bar with real maple syrup, and a Nutty Brûlée- something…with hazelnut and other yummy stuff! The workers were extremely friendly and the place was clean. Also they had free water while to wait."

"I come to Alaska almost every year and Rainbow foods is ALWAYS on my list to visit after or before a hike.They have a great selection of the cleanest, most valuable food choices out there, as far as groceries go. You know how some of us only use the “organic” and “natural” isle in a supermarket? Rainbow foods is entirely like that!!!And they make these fabulous fresh daily breads and sandwiches, soup and other little homemade things. Which unsurprisingly are gone by noon because they are so good!I always make a meal from there and sometimes I top it up with a nice kombucha or goat kefir.I’m telling you Juneau will always be Rainbow foods before and after my hikes.That’s where I find taste and valuable nutrition to support my training and health!Oh, and they have fresh veggies too. And chocolate! And nuts and cereals! … here I go again! I can spend a few hours there reading labels:"

"A little pricey but very good ingredients and well prepared sandwiches. Good coffee according to my wife, service was a little slow but that's the norm for today's staffing shortage. All in all a good lunch."
