"Just happened on this place by accident but was really happy that I did. The decor is amazing, the service is commendable and the food is delicious. This is not an Italian-American restaurant but is more of an authentic Italian restaurant so if you like Italian food like East Side Mario's this is not the place for you. The food is more about real flavors (those of the ingredients) than just drowning everything in garlic, salt, sugar and cheese. A real gem of a restaurant in Halifax. The portions were generous and the service is like that of a family restaurant. I will be returning for another visit soon."

"This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. She said this is where locals go to eat seafood any place else you’ll get overcharged and all the food is good. She was right! It is not fancy just a local dinner with booths and paper mats with ads on the table. But I had the lobster dinner and it was excellent! And it was about half the cost of what I’d pay in the states. It came with the clam chowder which my husband and I both thought was very good. He had the chicken brochette with lemon potatoes (yum) and loved it. If you’re looking for good food, this is it. If you’re looking for fancy, go someplace else."

"Xander and the staff provided the best decorations, atmosphere and most attentive and thoughtful service for our post-wedding dinner. It was a night to remember and it all came down to Resto Urban Dining. Thank-you very much for your caring service. The food: big servings and delicious and worth every penny. Glad I got the seafood chowder and salmon entree."

"The Nachos were absolutely AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Nachos. The chicken wings were amazing, my husband raved about the flavour of the HOT WINGS, they did run out of Honey Garlic though so I was not able to try the wings myself. We ordered dessert along with a cocktail and beer. I had the Ocean Pearl, it was very delicious.My husband and I will definitely be back to have the Nachos again!Restaurant was nice inside with a good atmosphere, the option of Bar side or Restaurant. Service was also really great, friendly and Quick."
