"It's good food at a reasonable price. Man, I am surprised at all the bad reviews on here. We had family that moved from Tulsa to Dallas over a year ago, and whenever they come to visit this is one of the places that they miss going to! Sure, it's not the best Italian ever, but the dishes are good, and the prices are reasonable. I had the chicken marsala last night and it was a good, thick, hearty sauce, with plenty of mushrooms which I enjoyed, and angel hair pasta. The waitress was very attentive and always made sure that we got refills on our water and Dr. Pepper quickly. I have also had their chicken dish with lemon and artichokes and sun dried tomatoes, and that was very good too...read more"

"One of Tulsa's secret Italian food treasures. This is a great place for a romantic date. And the food is wonderful. I've tried many different dishes, and all have been great. The lobster/shrimp bisque is a must if you like bisque."

"TERRIBLE SERVICE. We have eaten here twice and will not go again. The service is terrible. The food is ok. They asked my wife and I if we were in a hurry. I said no and we waited for over two hours. We should have walked out. We tried one more time last week as we waited several months before going back. The soup was mainly water. Everyone was in a hurry, but we were not being waited on. Finally, the waiter brought us three breadsticks. I don't know how they stay in business other than a great location."

"Full disclosure, my experience was during lunch, a bit late in the hour so it was not very crowded. But, we had excellent attentive service and the Italian combo sandwich was probably the best sandwich I have ever had. Bread had a crisp crust and a warm soft interior. The sandwich was stacked high with quality, authentic Italian meats, fresh mozzarella di buffalo and sweet roasted red peppers. It's a great huge sandwich and comes with a pile of fries. Unless you are incredibly hungry, you will walk out of there with a go box. All this for 9.95? Fuget about it!"

"Love it. I love it here. I see people complaining about the 'grandma ' feel and the atmosphere, but that is my favorite part. It 's a tiny place with awesome food (the chicken parm is the best in town for me... the thin breading is to die for). This is a consistently great place."

"Absolutely wonderful! It is very hard to find a restaurant with decent gluten free options. I am used to places having only 2 or 3 options, but Johnny's had such a large selection that it was almost impossible to choose. I will be coming back often until I have had a chance to try them all!"
