"Food was good — there’s nothing special to it and everything tasted like there was something missing — the food could be better. Service was extremely slow. We found ourselves waiting ridiculous amounts of time in between general table service. The server was very kind despite this inconvenience. Ambience was great — the restaurant is beautiful, the music is amazing, and the bathrooms were really nice! Overall, The Merchant is a good place — food and service could use some improvement!"

"I’ve been to Coppa before and got the spaghetti carbonara and absolutely loved it and was looking forward to my return. This time, however, I was severely disappointed by the service and the food. For the food we got polpette (meatballs) which were fair, the arrosticini (lamb skewers) which were amazing, and the fusilli and fettuccine con tartufo for the main course. The fusilli and fettuccine were beyond disappointing. Although the pasta itself was good, the fusilli had no sausage in it which was listed as the first ingredient on the menu. And the $45 fettuccine? As a lover of all things truffle, I honestly don’t think any truffles were used. The dish did not taste like truffles at all, even the truffle flakes on top of the dish also did not taste like truffles. I am certain it was another finely sliced mushroom. To top it off, both of us ordered drinks and had finished them with the appetizers but, we were not asked if wanted a refill until dessert. Overall, pretty disappointing for a meal I spent over $200 on."

"Did take out which was speedy Tom yum soup absolutely delicious and spicy Panang curry with tofu wish it was a bit more spicy but very flavorful and lots of veggies Pad see yew with veggie chicken delicious noodles that were perfectly chewy, could use more greens in itString beans and tofu great flavor, sweet and savory, perfect with rice Great addition to Chinatown highly recommend!"

"Cusser's has tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining so we took advantage of it Saturday night. Had the smoked swordfish deviled egg appetizer which was excellent. Got the hot lobster roll for my main course and I can now understand why it was just named Best of Boston this year!! Husband had fish tacos which were perfectly balanced. Great wines by the glass!! Highly recommend Cusser's!!!"
