"What a little jewel! I'm giving Thai Sana 5 stars because Pat and his crew check all the boxes. Today my daughter was in the law's birthday and she wanted to try something new. She was never in a Thai restaurant, so we drove the hill to Thai Sana for a taste experience and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Pat. The room was spotless, bright, cheerful and smells like we had a delicious lunch. The interior has golden lights, bright red covers on the chairs and colorful flowers. Just what you would imagine for a sweet little place. Only the fun that the doctor ordered on a winter day and the perfect setting to celebrate. Our party of four, 3 adults and a baby felt at home right away. We ordered Thai tea, hot. Pat brought us a hot tea. It came in a beautiful large white teapot, with three ornate and funny teacups. I served deep orange cups with hot quality, we roasted the lady of the hour and ordered our feast. I ordered us the chicken catay. At the point, tender court. I think it came with 4 maybe 5 nice pieces of chicken, a peanut sauce and some kind of onion maybe vinegar sauce. I didn't try the second sauce, not my thing. We got the dumplings. These were small round crispy, savory eggs from Yum. They came with a sweet soy, maybe a lit touch of Ginger, sauce on the side. I believe 5, maybe 6. They were unique dumplings. They had a coating of varieties that added a completely different texture dynamics, we loved it. I have the Fried Spring roles and we loved them. So fresh, cabbage perfectly chopped. Also served with sweet soy. 5 per order, I think. I asked and was given extra thick peanut immediately. This sauce is one of my favorite sauces on this planet and every little place is a little different. I love it. I liked Thai Sana peanut sauce, exactly right spices, beautiful consistency, tasteful, but not excessive. I also ordered the Tom Gha soup with chicken. I always do, because this is the way to eat in a Thai restaurant. I was thrilled. When our other companion came together, she took a taste and ordered a bowl herself. All three of us fell in love right away. I love to introduce new food to the people I love. So much fun. The DIL was in heaven, she loved all new tastes. The spice level was perfect. (For a super spice lover, but we are in Maine, so I felt it was on the right level. All three of us loved the presentation. Everything looked nice and delivered to taste. For our main course we decided to stay at the classic and two orders from Pad Thai. We have refined ourselves to the perfectly sawn noodles. The sweet and hearty sauce melts into the slices of the delicate chicken. They use shredded carrots, I also liked this visually and textural. I added some peanut sauce and a hint of soya. Thai Sana nailed it!! We're all so full and have many leftovers. Everything was very fresh, especially beautiful as it is the middle of winter. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the prices are great, especially for the servings. Pat and the lovely grandmother lady who culminates from the kitchen to say hello between the dishes, gave such a personal touch to the whole birthday. We could taste love in food: I hope that helps my colleagues and our local business. Be blessed. Be nice. Be grateful, you are in Maine, the way life should be; also sidenotes for tourists come thru on the way to BH, Acadia or The Island: At lunch we recognized due to its location; Thai Sana would be a perfect place for a couple or a family to take a delicious meal at a reasonable price before you come into the crowd and prices to offer our famous and beautiful destination location"

"Sorry but we have tried twice to enjoy a meal here and it's just not that good. Pizza crust wasn't good. Steak and cheese sandwich was COLD with stale roll. French fries were soggy and cold. We ate IN so how could they be cold? The sodas from their fountain have no carbonation and no ice either. The taste was awful for both orange and rootbeer.Just not that good all around.Kid friendliness: They did have high chairs and crayons with dragon cartoon to color. They also had sanitizer wipes at the table which was clean."
