"Myself and 2 friends, enjoyed a evening catching up at this beautiful pub, sat outside next to the river, late evening sun was setting and sky loooked fab. Food was top notch, I had fish and chips, the chips are AMAZING big chunky and crispy!! Fish very good to. My friends both had steak and enjoyed it thoroughly. Waitress and bar man really friendly and welcoming! Have been here a few times for food now and have never been disappointed."

"We booked a table this evening as a family celebration meal but were left feeling that we were a total inconvenience.The food was lovely but as soon as anyone finished their meal the plate was whisked away even while others were eating.We paid the bill at the end but remained chatting for another ten minutes until the manager ? came to our table and practically asked us to leave.Tuere was no one else in the restaurant so we assumed that it was closing.I did ask her on leaving what time they were closing and she replied 9.45 pm.Our table was booked for 6pm and we were leaving before 8pm so unsure why we were felt to be overstaying our welcome.Not sure it is a place that I would return to or recommend anyone."
