"A party of 17 of us tried Essence Dining at St. Lawrence College last month - what a fantastic find. For lunch an amazing three-course meal is for $11.50 plus tax. There are dinner services of 4-5 courses For $21.95+tax which I will definitely be trying. We booked through the website number and descended upon the Culinary School at Portsmouth. Parking is at a premium so if there is alternative transportation, you can save that headache. At lunch time during specified weeks during the school year, you can choose from a limited menu of appetizer and main while the dessert choice is fixed. For my choices, I opted for a beetroot and squash salad and a stuffed chicken. Both courses were artfully presented and delicious. Dessert was a pineapple upside down cake, which I liked less, but was lovely regardless. I will be returning with friends and family regularly."

"This was the fourth visit to Stone City in as many visits to Kingston. Inspired menu. Hummus is fantastic as was the Chorizo burger. Beer is always excellent. Service is prompt and attentive. Great place to go with friends for an elevated pub experience."

"Walking along dt I randomly found this spot. So shocked its actually a Cantonese place! Do you have any idea how hard it is to find good Cantonese food nowadays? For cheap! I've tried their combo specials. Its a great deal for like 12 bucks, comes with egg roll(a bit salty for my taste), fried rice and meat and veggie. Try the lemon chicken. Tip ask for sauce on the side so its still crispy when you get home. The owner seems like a good guy and an honest hard working cook. He told me theres no AC in the kitchen and he's busy all the time, gotta feel for him. He's been doing it for years and the other customers i bump into inside seem to like it. So I've been coming back. If you are looking to try something different maybe give the Singapore fried noodle a shot or mar po tofu."

"Food was just ok. Ordered fish and chips portions were good fish batter was a little thick and too greasy for me so just ate the fish which was delicious. Fries are the downfall use to be handcut but when asked they did say they...were frozen and you can tell. The lady who asked also asked why and they just shrugged their shoulders. 1/4 pd fried claims on the side were really nice and were the highlight of our lunch. Pricing on the takeout was ok, I do wish they had an area to eat it fresh, they did have a couple patio tables awhile back but no longer. We ate in the car with ac going as it was 31 outside and really no where else to go and sit to eat. 30 min drive home to eat would have made it really soggy."

"I love dominos but this place was worst. We ordered a crunchy thin crust pizza which doesn’t seems like it has a crust. The crust was so so so thin that when u take a bit u will only taste cheese sauce and toppings. Moreover, the toppings quantity was so less that it looks like we have wasted our money. Will not at all recommended this place."
