"Quiet local diner, accepts all important credit cards. the prices are quite reasonable for an island restaurant. I had the Moco-Loco, which was good, her pfeffer water is very good, I recommend trying on her eating when they come here, adds a nice kick to her meal."

"Good service but when our food arrived, it wasn't hot, barely warm. My husband's prime rib was well done, not medium rare like he order. My ribeye was thin and they put a sauce on it. Disappointed with the meal but the setting is beautiful."

"Great food! We came to lunch and it wasn't too busy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The Taro horses are also really delicious, even for people who don't like Taro. A great little beach food flavor to eat if you don't want a full sit down menu with silver clothing. The fish of the day is also really delicious, and the late breakfast is delicious."

"On Friday I went first and was amazed at the huge selection of tropical products. while I enjoyed a fresh, young cocosnus, the water, then the meat. I drove with pineapple, papaya, bananas, plantains and mountaineers to the house. they were all delicious!"

"That was one of the best places we ate on the island. we shared a sandwich and regret not to get two! if we had more time, we would have gone a day! we still talk about it. the personal was also super friendly and as an additional bonus the bathroom was really clean."

"The book “Kauai Revealed” has got this one wrong. Nothing special. Our neighbors were not happy with their Pad Thai, either. The “Craving Thai” food truck in Koloa and Bangkok Happy Bowl restaurant in Poipu both have better tasting food. The drunken noodle was rather bland. The pad thai, according to our neighboring table, was too sweet."

"The shave ice at Uncle 's is fine, but nothing special. Since there are so many amazing shave ice places on Kauai, Uncle 's has some stiff competition. We were greeted by a young man wearing an I love Hot Moms sweatshirt. Funny, but pretty unprofessional. He continued his conversation with his coworker as he tossed our dishes of ice cream down on the counter. It was obvious that he didn 't really want to deal with us or making our shave ice. The shave ice flavor was fine. The ice was a little hard and crunchy in spots and the vanilla mac nut ice cream wasn 't as tasty as it had been elsewhere. I would personally recommend skipping Uncle 's and heading for Waikomo Shave Ice in the shopping center on the other side of the traffic circle. That was the best shave ice we had in all of Kauai."
