"We had dinner last night during our first stay. We were served by the waiter; had great service and great food. The 4 sampler ceviche was great as a starter. The fish special (sautéed jolt head) was perfectly cooked, as were the vegetables. The combination of the fish, vegetables, and sauce was awesome."

"Disappointed I have been going K 38 Tower 7 for many many years and up until now has always been a great experience. However my wife and I went to K 38 yesterday for lunch and was very disappointed in our visit. I am unsure what happened, if they went under new ownership or management but the building and its contents where disgusting. The place was filthy. This started the moment we walked in. The glass doors and windows has smudges and smears as if it had been months since they where cleaned. We entered and noticed no personnel where wearing masks. So here we are in the middle of a pandemic and we had the worst hospitalization rate this past weekend and no staff are wearing any masks to protect customers. I was ready to leave but decided I would stay. We were then lead to a wobbly table and provided the most dirty menu I have ever seen did not even want to touch it. Looked around and noticed green mold around the ceiling air vents dirt and grime on the wood rails. Overall this is probably one of the most dirty restaurants I have been to in many years. It is as if they no longer care about the maintenance and care of the restaurant. We ended up getting two tacos and drinks. They were great, the tacos were cooked perfect and the margarita was good. Still could not get over the overall uncleanliness, it made for a very uncomfortable experience. We will not be coming back. It was a good run but I believe this local restaurant chain has had its best days behind itself. It was a good run but all good things must come to an end and I think that is the case for K 38. If I wanted great food and did not care about paying a premium for a good overall experience I would go to the Burrito Shack. The tacos are just as good at half the cost and it is a clean environment."

"Simply delicious. The fries seasoning is outstanding. We had one issue with our fries being cold, but the waitress immediately gave us fresh fries on this side. We ordered the fish and chips to keep it simple. The fish was not over/under fried."

"The least most consistent restaurant in all Wilmington,  at the time if you DoorDash they forget a straw, ive ordered a Avocado grilled cheese and they didnt even grill the sandwich just put cheese in bread and gave it to me, the smoothies have completely fallen off the last 3 Ive gotten turned into like sonic slushys where it turns into ice and you cant even sip it anymore I wouldnt go here, go to one in porters neck or Leland "

"The food was amazing. We immediately sat with a very friendly hostess. Our waiter came directly to us and had our drinks quickly. The food was great. Shrimp only slightly baked and well perfect. Tuna was perfect and freshly melated. Make sure you fries the lemon peppers because they are amazing. This is definitely a great way to finish a beach trip."
