"Went to Devine's on Monther's day and was really disappointed. They sat us upstairs in the loft with plastic folding chairs and banquet-like tables. We were literally in the loft upstairs alone; it was a little creepy. The service was slow. Food came out at different intervals, and they forgot the syrup (twice). The hashbrowns and eggs were dry. The hasbrowns were described as having onions and peppers, but they were just out of a can. The waitress never came back after delivering the check, so we went downstairs and paid at the bar. This was our fourth visit, but we will probably never go back."

"Wow! This place has such a long wait because it’s first come first serve, but it was okay because my boyfriend and I just walked around the area while we waited. We were sat at the bar and the hostesses were really nice about getting us a seat! We tried their small plates- the pork belly watermelon tacos were just as unique and tasty as the reviews say! We also tried the garlic truffle fries, veal short ribs, and the roasted Brussel sprouts. They were all cooked to perfection Brandon, the bartender, was very attentive and made me a mocktail that tasted amazing and refreshing. My boyfriend got another bourbon cocktail (the Stupid Hat or something like that) and he loved it. The ambience is very cozy and exclusive, and the place was dark, but it definitely added to the vibe. Would love to come again!"

"Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????"

"Creative high quality dishes in a well designed place in Gowanus. It’s a pit pricy and the Linguini was too spicy but the carrots dish is fantastic, there were good vegetarian options and great cocktails. A good example of why Gowanus is great!"

"Absolutely loved this The restaurant was so beautiful with historical glass and the stories of MariTime Patronage! The verses of the Art of War that are displayed over the ceiling were hard to ignite and we held passages about our dinner conversation. Service was great and food was even better. I would recommend this place to everyone"
