"Twice in a row when I came here for after work drinks, I had to stand outside on the pavement. Why? Because I rather breathe in car fumes than become deaf! It does have many large windows to allow noise circulation but I found it impossible to have a conversation inside the one room pub. The pub is literally a large high ceiling room with bar in the centre. There is a restaurant upstairs but the main bar is just one large unattractive area.

"They have a wide menu for vegan ... the soy beef tasted just like beef... it was amazing!! The food didn't take long to come at all... the risotto is more like a stir fry fried. So I wouldn't be ordering that if I was looking for a warm cozy meal. But over all it was a really good experience. I highly recommend this!"

"For the price we paid you would expect the steak to be perfect and the wait staff to come back and ask how everything is. Not here! But they did come back and say there was a problem after we paid. The problem being that...when we split the bill 3 ways, we had miscalculated and we had paid 70 cents short. Pretty pissed that we were never asked how the meal was and there was never a chance to rectify it and the 70 cents was requested. Again? Doubt it."

"I've been to Est twice- for the dinner tasting menu and lunch à la carte, so my review below is based on both experiences.<br>

Service is fairly good. Staff are largely attentive, helpful and friendly, although there were a few instances of forgetting our requests.<br>

Ambience and decor are very nice, creates a lovely setting to relax and catch up with friends. In the day especially, the light pours in through the tall windows and creates a lovely bright mood.<br>
<br>
Unfortunately the food and drinks can be a hit or miss. Some of the dishes were quite nice and some really were not (found quite a few to be too salty, too dry). Some of the cocktails were not great either (e.g. mine tasted too similarly to Thai green curry for my preference!)<br>
<br>
Overall-- Est is great for service, ambience and environment, but you'll find better food and drink elsewhere."

"Food is average quality Italian, service is slow (we waited almost an hour for our entree to arrive), and when the bill came it was over by $133! Took quite a bit of discussion to sort out and have the drinks that had been double charged taken off. Expensive for the quality of food and overall experience. We won’t be back"
