"Tonight we visited Outback Steakhouse in The Villages for the first time in over 8 months. Our last visit was horrible. This time they knocked it out of the park. Had the best steak I have had in a while as well as the best service in quite a while anywhere. We also had dietary restrictions and the cook staff nailed it perfectly. We will definitely be back again!!! Thank you to Jalen for amazing service and professionalism."

"Went there for Mother's Day and the food was horrible. Everything had absolutely no flavor. My husband ordered beef tacos and said the meat tasted like a can of Alpo that they cooked and burned. My husband is not a picky eater by any means but he just couldn't eat it. The spinach artichoke dip had no flavor with pita chips almost burnt. Our sons fish sticks, the breading was so bland, at least the fish was goof. Bang bang shrimp had way too much mayo in it. I had tried this place before with a friend almost a year ago and it wasn't this bad. I don't know what happened but definitely not going back. The only things we enjoyed were the fries and drinks."

"After 40 minutes of sitting without being hit by a waitress, we left. Full staff was on the back with the play-up and play-off and the three tables waiting with us, as well as with us. I have fun, but not even an employee on the ground for half an hour, and that includes the bar? I've never seen such a terrible service in my life."

"Tonight a friend and I decided to eat here. We got a booth by the bar thinking we'd get our drinks sooner but definitely not and forget about getting your food. But between my waiter and the manager my experience went straight from a 2 to a 4. I'd go higher but the drinks aren't really worth the price but the food was good. I wasn't angry but definitely annoyed and I guess they could tell. I appreciate them seeing the issue without me saying anything and doing their best to improve my experience. They definitely went above and beyond."

"I will say the staff is excellent, but I have read other reviews on here and I agree that other Longhorns are great….. with this said this is our third visit to this location. And unfortunately all three times we’ve been is the same, can I get some tater with my salt? How about some meat flavor over the seasoning? The best steak tastes like steak not over powering seasoning. I don’t like to complain to the waitress/waiter about the food cause it ain’t their fault. But this time the taters were a good 30 to 45 minutes away from being done, so I jus got some extra sour cream and made some undercooked mashed up tater. My wife’s steak was heavy seared and undercooked in the middle. Believe it or not people would rather wait a few minutes longer than to rush the cook."
