"It's a decent sized restaurant with ample parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the following items: Grill Platter 1, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Karahi, and Mango Habenero Wings. The grill platter was excellent. It comes with Beef Dhaga Kabob which is a kabob on a string. I have never seen any kabob like that before. It was very unique and tasty. The kabob platter also came with beef and chicken seekh kabob, malai boti and chicken karara. The jalapenos which were added also elevated the flavor. All the kabobs were good but i think the standouts were the Dhaga and Malai Boti. The mango habenero wings were solid. The spice had a decent kick. I wasn't a fan of the biryani and the karahi. The quality/quantity of meat was good but neither dish had a whole of flavor. It was bland in comparison to some of the other restaurants I have been to. Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely go back for the grill platter. I also saw they recently added burgers and sandwiches. May try those as well."

"Our experience was just OK. The sausage was fine, and brisket was OK, but nothing to write home about. The sides were disappointing green beans so peppery I couldn't taste the bean, mac n cheese too salty (and what were the flecks in it? Notpepper, but if not, then what? , potato salad was OK except there was a flavor in it that I didn't like maybe someone elsewould like it fine. Also I was excited about the Texas Stars until I got them and they were soooo sweet. Like dessert sweet. I was hoping for some salty sweet tangy goodness, but was disappointed. For us, this place was not special enough to return."

"Shoal creek is so good! The service and food were both great. I sat at the bar and Ashley was so helpful. She was quick with our order and made really delicious drinks as well as being super friendly and knowledgeable. The Shoal Creek bread was the perfect warm, cheesy appetizer. Can't wait to come back!"

"We love everything about J2 Steakhouse from the ambiance, food, drinks and service. We started with the shrimp cocktail. They were massive and delicious. For our main entree we split the chicken fried steak. I think it was up there with the best I’ve ever had! Our server Boyd was outstanding as was his assistant and the drink consultant Cody was very personable and knowledgeable. We look forward to our next visit and their upcoming wine tasting."

"Definitely not the Red Lobster quality it once was. First time visiting this location. Crazy how large this one is. We had just sat down and hadn't even had a chance to open the menu when our waitress introduced herself and immediately asked us what we wanted to order(drink and food). Felt a little rushed and we were there way before closing time... The food was decent, but the experience just wasn't the Red Lobster experience I've always had in the past."

"This place was terrible the first few months that it was open, but has improved vastly. Great spot for large family groups. Food was good, service was good, ambiance was decent. Drink selection needs work. It wasn 't a must-go experience but I 'd recommend it. Very casual. I didn 't try the speak easy but hoping to make it by for an evening cocktail."
