"We stopped in for some appetizers and a drink and ended up coming back for dinner later that night and then again 2 nights later. The calamari and fish tacos were both extremely tasty. We ended up having the mahi mahi dinner with roasted vegetables and they were cooked to perfection providing us a perfect meal. The wait staff was very friendly and offered great suggestions. The location s right at the start of your trip into Old San Juan and the outside dining had a very nice atmosphere."

"This was a great place for a large group of hungry travelers new to San Juan. The beer was cold and the food was quite good. We tried several pizzas, chicken parmigiana and other dishes. The restaurant was very clean and our large party sat in the back away from other tables, so we had no covid concerns (San Juan takes Covid seriously so always felt fine). The pizzas were very good! Coming from the northeast, we were not sure how Italian in Puerto Rico would be, but it was quite good. The waiter was attentive and we left full and satisfied! The bread appetizer was delicious. I would definitely recommend. It has a few TVs and a casual feel. We walked from our hotel. It's not fancy but a nice change from the more formal dining we had on vacation."

"We had such a wonderful evening at Centrico! Hector (owner) took care of us himself and treated us like family. We had mussels for an appetizer which were served in a delicious broth with French fries. My wife had a fantastic chicken dish and I had a steak. Both cooked impeccably. Throughout the meal Hector checked up on us many times and even brought us surprise desert of Barriguitas de Vieja pumpkin fritters. Drizzled with honey and served with vanilla ice cream. Incredible! If and when we make it back to San Juan, we will definitely return. This place is truly special."
