"Went there after two people gave recomendations as one of the best seafood restaurants in Rosarito. Got there at about 5:00 in the afternoon. There was a crowd outside on the sidewalk and inside I saw no table open, but my wife spied one that looked like an afterthought where a man was chopping up coconut for the Camerones de Coco. It appeared as if there were only two waitresses with about 40 customers at this time. The service was really slow and we were not familiar with the menu except for the shrimp and coconut which I had had enough of on the beach earlier and the Steak and Lobster, so I had the steak and lobster. The lobster was in the shell and hung over the tiny table, but it was fine, the steak however was way over cooked. By the time we had eaten the place was empty and suddenly we had service. Just got there an hour too soon"

"I actually hate to do this, because, mostly I've had good experiences here. But today I asked Pasta y Basta to deliver a meal, colotta, a veal meal. The meat was so thin as to be non-existant. Breaded veal. There was twice as much breading...as meat. The meat was thin, tough, and without taste. Not sure, but my guess is that the owner is the chef, so whatever the complaint, it was against the owner/chef. My guess is that because the owner is chef, there is no one to tell him the truth. I called to complain, and got the feeling they were going to disregard my complaint. This is unaccaptable. No offer to refund, no offer to replace. Pretty sure my complaint will be disregarded. Thought they were a quality place, not so sure now."

"I went to Susanna's tonight around 8pm after a long day of work to relax, have a drink and a nice dinner by myself... when I got there, I asked the waiter what time the kitchen closed and he said 9:30. So I took my time to eat and read a book... a few minutes before 9pm, a waitress asked me if I was going to order anything else because the bar and kitchen were closing at 9... So I told her that the other waiter had said 9:30 and she said that because I was the only customer there, they were closing early. I hadn't even finished my food yet... I was thinking of ordering dessert and having another drink but she just rushed my out. That's just horrible service. I am very disappointed."

"Very disappointed; rib-eye steak cooked medium rare was tough not tasty, I doubt it was a ribeye cut. Mushrooms we ordered tasted like they used older mushrooms, weren’t very fresh. Iceberg lettuce in the salad was not fresh. Spouse ordered arrechera beef, ordered cooked medium; came well done, seasoning was good tasted better than the ribeye, but smoke flavor was added to it, making it a little over bearing. We did not enjoy the meal. The only thing we both liked was the cilantro soup. I went there several years ago it was good; I will never go back; there are too many good places to go eat. We went the day after Memorial Day."

"On Sunday morning the hotel has a buffet in the main dining-room. The Casa Blanca is on the other side of the pool, the view is great, you can order off the regular menu and no long lines.... the breakfast was very good."
