"We came here for our anniversary last year and it was really good! There aren't many Japanese kaiseki restaurants in the Bay Area and we were glad we found this gem. They did have several set menus to choose from as some were more basic and some had premium add on like Kobe beef. They also had a all kobe beef menu that interested us but we want to try it for next time! This place is very reminiscent of japan I'm that they really take pride in presentation, they explain to you what's each dish is and the servers are super nice. I get why they have set times and they only let a certain amount per seating. The food all seems to come out around the same time as everyone else and it's freshly made. Our favorite courses were definitely the Kobe beef, the sashimi course, crab croquette, the tofu, the chawanmushi and desserts. Literally we loved everything , I don't think there was a dish that we hated. It made us feel like we were in japan while we couldn't visit during the pandemic. Love this place and will definitely be back in the future! Totals for 2: 600"

"The Old Spaghetti Factory is a good place for a group of friends, colleagues or a family to enjoy a nice meal, drinks and whatnot. The menu offers something for everyone and the plates are huge! Leave a lot of room before going to The Old Spaghetti Factory or wear loose clothing. Joking aside great taste, value for money and friendly service."

"We had a reservation and we're seated right away. Our waiter admitted off the bat he was new, we told him it was our first time at Mountain House so we didn't have anyone to compare him to. We started with drinks and appetizers and our waiter was patient while we looked over the menu and chatted. My husband ordered skirt steak and I got the shrimp and scallops. Our food arrived and everything was beautifully presented. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the shrimp were a nice texture. I noticed my second bite that I was given the wrong meal. I asked our server if it was the primavera which he answered it was. I reminded him I hadn't ordered primavera and he took it away. While he fixed my meal, it was disappointing that he confused the only two pastas on the menu. The other disappointment was that my husband's meal got totally cold while he waited for me to get the correct entree. We ordered peach cobbler for dessert and it was delicious. Fresh peaches, creamy ice cream, it doesn't get much better. Overall it was a good dining experience. Would go back."

"I enjoyed a side Ceasar salad, followed by the tender Roasted Wild Mushroom Ravioli with its delicious sauce. Dessert was a rich, warm brownie with a raspberry coulis. I happily recommend Mistral for a treat."

"Lively crowd, fantastic staff attentive and helpful. The food is absolutely amazing pizzas are delicious great combinations of flavors. The crust has delicious flavor and it's the right amount of chewy with the right amount of crisp. Sausage and honey is one of my favorites perfect combination of savory, sweet spice. The basil and burrata has a great fresh basil taste with the creaminess of burrata. The pesto and cheese is the perfect white pie. Now the grilled carrots are absolutely delicious with the spices and yogurt dipping sauce in the beet salad is delicious fresh beets and avocado with a nice arugula blend and perfect dressing. Love this pace and always enjoy the wait and seeing all the people. Can't wait to come back."
