"Food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding. Came here for an anniversary, the staff had signed a card for us. I thought that was a nice touch. Evan was our server, he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was incredible. Best scallops we have ever had. Had a great time and a wonderful meal. We will be back!"

"I have never been so uncomfortable while trying to eat dinner as I was here. We asked Betsy to put the Michigan football game on, which she did without a problem, but continued to bash us to her 3 friends at the bar, very loudly, for wanting to watch the game and she couldn't see the tennis game. She had the tennis game on right in front of her. She was very rude, unprofessional and using profanity. All she had to do was ask us if we wanted to move to a table where we could see the game and she could change the bar TV to tennis. We have been going to this restaurant for many years but will not be back and will not recommend it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1"

"What a beautiful, casual environment on the river Kalamazoo! Sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. Food suggestions: Try the pickle dip for an appetizer I don't like pickles and I loved it. The fried chicken AMAZING! Choose the cookies as one of your pages worth EVERY calories! Enjoy!"

"Super close to Mason Street Performances, maybe two blocks. The service was good, the food delicious and the drinks delicious. The Gyro appetizer is more or less an open faced gyro cut in half and it was amazing. We followed him with a few burgers and pommes. A little expensive for a small kitchen."

"Stopped to grab a bite after going to the Tulip Festival in Holland, MI in early May. Per others’ reviews we expected to wait for a table, so that wasn’t a problem at all. The food was absolutely amazing, and serving were BIG. We were seated inside which was no problem as even indoor seating was primarily next to big, open windows. Those on the outdoor patio could enjoy the waterfront view! Going back to the food- there is not one negative thing to say because everything we ordered was delicious, flavorful, and plating matched the aesthetic of the restaurant. The reason I did not give this place five stars is because after being seated, we were not approached by our waitress for a good ten to fifteen minutes. Unfortunately that did not get much better throughout the meal as we had to hunt her down for the check, boxes, drinks, etc. I understand that the restaurant was busy (I’m glad they are getting business now that everything had opened back up), but I do wish we were served (or at least greeted) a bit sooner than we ended up being approached. Overall, I would definitely go back to The BARge for the food, but I think I will consider the slower hours of the day."
