"Jamal is great. He’s the only great part about this place. He cannot possibly wait on 10 tables at a time AND train someone. We come for the salad bar in addition to ordering regular food. Cold food, horribly low stocked and dirty salad bar. We waited 40 minutes for our bill. No refills. Poor Jamal was trying to train some sweet girl but she just ended up trying to refill drinks for people. The manager was training some FOH staff but should have been attending to customers. Train them on your own time, not at the dinner hour. They need to be following someone to learn anyway. Then the tip machine said “18% of the bill is $7 and change.” And that was the lowest I could leave. Well, 18% of my bill which was $28 — is not $7. They forced me to leave a 25% tip. Which I would have done anyway but that is deceptive and wrong. Since Jamal wasn’t really to blame we obviously tipped him, but we definitely won’t come back. Shame, as this place had been a childhood favorite. This review came after a couple of these experiences here over the last few months but it’s not getting better. IF YOU NEED WORKERS, PAY THEM. Or is that why your tip amounts are lies? :"

"I feel terrible because I never post bad reviews but this warranted one. My husband and I were hoping to go on a nice date night but the restaurant we were hoping to go to had an hour wait. We saw Andrews was up the street and had decent reviews so wedecided to head over. The first clue should?ve been how dead it was but we thought maybe it was a hidden gem. Far from it. Assomeone with a severe gluten allergy I was happy to see there was a key stating there was GF options but to my surprise none ofthe items were marked as gluten free. I asked our server who said she wasn?t sure but she did check on what would be an optionin the end. The food came out and was honestly terrible. My husband said his dish tasted canned and mine tasted like it had beenreheated in a microwave. The steak I ordered medium was severely overdone and gray. Not sure why it?s labeled as Market Pricewhen they?re definitely not fresh. The whipped potatoes were sitting in a puddle of something and the plain asparagus wereprobably the best thing on the plate. They also charge extra for using a credit card instead of cash which doesn?t seem to makesense since the prices are extremely high (both dishes were just shy of $30). Between the overpriced dishes, poor taste, andmediocre service we couldn?t get out fast enough and definitely wouldn?t recommend. It really ruined our night as we had highhopes. We literally feel robbed because of how much money it cost and how bad it was."

"I ordered pickup and my food came out of their kitchen as I was walking through the door. The calamari appetizer was okay, but the scampi fiesta was quite good: shrimp and scallops tossed in butter over a bed of tasty rice. Good crisp coleslaw as well."
