"What an amazing addition to the Manchester culinary scene! The first time it was just my husband and I. We ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, the chicken parm, and the short rib ragu. All were impeccable!! I particularly love that the portions aren't obscenely huge. Apparently, they were having problems with the computers that night and our entree orders didn't go through. Though we thought it was completely unnecessary, the owner came out to apologize and comped us the dessert trio, which was unbelievable. Cannoli aren't my favorite things, but these cannoli were delicious! Last night, we brought our two daughters with us. We kept to the same Brussels sprouts app and dessert trio, and one girl ordered the chicken parm, but I went with the stuffed chicken this time, my husband went with the bolognese, and our other daughter had the veal parm. Clean plates all around! We will be back, as there are so many other things we wish to try on the menu!!"

"This was our first time at Thea but it won't be our last! Everything from the food to the service was first class. The decor is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Love that it is a BYOB. The arugula beet salad was amazing and our entrees were equally impressive."

"Really mediocre over prepared food with no subtlety. The art of cooking ismedling subtle flavors. If you like to get hit over the head with food go here. If you like to explore nuance go somewhere else. The waiter while he seemed like a nice guy had no idea what he was doing. Our impression is that he was poorly trained. The place only had three tables occupied and he was nowhere to be seen when we needed him. Overall this was a big miss. We will not go back."

"Republic is one of my go-to restaurants in Manchester. They have lots of options for vegans, meat-eaters, and GF folks. I have always found their staff to be knowledgeable and accommodating. My favorite thing about Republic is that it is nice enough for a date night, but also laid back enough for lunch with friends or a drink after work. Also worth checking out is their sister restaurant, Campo Enoteca."
