"
Its amazing how many rice and soup bowl places are literally surrounding this place in the always so busy food court. But this ordinary takeaway has somekind of star power that keeps you coming back for a quick cheap fix. The Indonesian Chicken and Beef Rendang is not adjusted to the local taste buds and that's the way life should be. Very generous serving of rice is plonked on your plate so make sure to ask for extra scoops of that hectic sauce!"

"The tempe bacem is really good at Podomoro! The rendang is decent and the kangkung is pretty tasty, though it's in quite a thick corn starch-y sauce that I'm not used to. In Jakarta I've generally known it more as a stir fry with garlic or chilli. The chicken is on the dry side but that's quite normal in Indonesian cuisine.

sarahversuscarbs.com"

"Malaysian stall in the always busy Dixon food court. The server is always lovely. The food is pretty good for the price - I wouldn't say it's the best laksa in Sydney but it is very tasty and is a huge portion!

lapetitebobo.com"

"One of my favourite spots for Korean BBQ in Sydney! We ordered the Palsaik special which consisted of 8 different types of pork belly, and also a seafood hotpot. Banchan and rice were also included, as per usual in KBBQ restaurants.

The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, each different marinade was absolutely incredible. My favourites were the wine, bulgogi and hot marinades. There was quite a bit of fat on the meat however which was not ideal, perhaps this is just me being weird though as I cannot stand meat fat ???? But I digress...

The seafood hotpot was hearty and full of flavour, very much needed on this depressingly rainy autumn day. The broth in particular was zingy with a bit of a kick, I ended up ladling some over my rice too, it was just too good. I would have been happy with just a bowl of that on its own, to be honest! ????

We received three banchan (kimchi, beansprouts and some sort of pickled onion). I personally would have liked one... read more"

"-Moderate food
-Bad ingredients quality
-Small portion of meats
-Bad services.

Waitress acted like she doesn't care anyone in the world. Very arrogant.

There is 10% discount for student until 5:30pm but it didn't work. I represented student id at 4:50 pm but ended up paying full price without giving me a receipt.

They should be better compare to the price. I would not recommend this place. There are more better Japanese restaurant around Haymarket for you to try out. Not very impressed."
