"Great little gem right off Ih10! It's in the shopping center where the HEB and Walmart are located. My husband and I were traveling from Houston to New Braunfels for the weekend and decided to stop and get dinner. Since I didn't want to get fast food, I looked on Yelp for a good place on the side of the road to eat. We walked in and realized we were the only customers so I was a little skeptical. However, was I in for a treat! We got salsa and chips and we ate through it fast because the salsa was nice and spicy. My husband had the Al Pastor, carnitas and asada tacos on corn with cilantro and onions. I had three gorditas desebrada (shredded beef), nopales (cactus) and Al Pastor. My husband and I agreed we didn't care for the Al Pastor (didn't taste much like it should taste) but it was good for being pork. We enjoyed everything else lots and loved the green spicy salsa. I really liked the cactus tender and flavorful with the onions and desebrada gordita was super stuffed with beef and tasty. We will definitely be stopping in the future when we're road tripping. I think the restaurant was a little lonely in the evening because I think most of their business is breakfast tacos. Now I now where to get my yummy Mexican food in Columbus, TX!"
