"Tre rivali. it is so hard to write a review at a place that exceeded all expectations I had. the work in the service industry has opened my eyes really to new restaurants and my good friend arin dietz has scattered the deck on eating and drinks. I brought my friend here for a date night when she came back from mexiko. eating was one of the best meal I had in milwaukee, top 3 safe. we also had the best server in restaurant hands down, asking them for mara they know what they want before they do. I will be back, but probably stay in the hotel connected to this amazing restaurant. if they want to come here name drop arin and mara safe. they will best take care of you, promised. Seriously eat here."

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"This used to be my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee, I told everyone to go eat here. Unfortunately, the food quality and menu offerings have gone down hill since my last visit. I ordered the spicy crab pasta. It had the slightest dusting of crab and the flavor got lost in the spicy sausage. The shallots in the mignonette sauce for the oysters tasted old and not fresh. The oyster mushroom app was just ok. I used to dine here and everything was exceptional. What happened? I'm so bummed."

"Wonderful, wonderful all the way around. I'm new to Wauwatosa and read a great review of the Highlands in The Shepherd so I decided to check it out. What a terrific experience in every way. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing prompt service and thoughtfully responding to needs throughout the meal. The vibe of the whole place is lovely and fun: it seems to be a local place, with regular customers who are greeted by the staff as well as a destination place for those who want an excellent meal at a terrific price. The food is yummy: breakfast poached eggs (perfectly done) and toast for $2.99? What a deal! The omelets are fluffy and huge, loaded with whatever the daily special is....read more"

"He stayed here after visiting some years back. I forgot everything about this place. eating was amazing, the service was also great. we will definitely be back, good mood for happy hour and dinner was great. and all reasonable prices too. I didn't have the nativity, but a guy tried to conquer this beast while we were there. see photo."
