"Love this café! Little menu, but all I had was great. Good value as the portions are enormous! Also love the fact that they make many different vegan options despite their small menu, and also other diets like gluten-free makes it food in a group really easy."

"TAKEAWAY ORDER. Outraged. fast delivery but both burrito and taco were stone cold. Tacos were tiny but same price as a burrito which was a lot bigger. Burrito was tasty but could get same quality from Los Cardos. Tiny little tacos with barely any filling is not worth £7. I'll never order from here again."

"I am aware that our geographic survey in all edinburgh is not entirely what it could be and will be from where we tend to spend most of our time. So when there was an opportunity to lunch in polwarth, I jumped by chance. for the first time the queen vicky had suggested the piecebox that sounded good to me. I had visited one because the nearby odds ends, and I heard good dinge about streat hawker in the polwarth tavern, but that is otherwise quite unexplored territory for me."

"Stashed away down some stairs at the West End is the 52 Canoes Tiki Den which specialises in rum. It's a nice little bar which is very well hidden. The decor is to try and give it a Pacific island feel to it, think Hawaii and you've got it. With tropical fish in tanks, art work on the walls which actually references Hawaii and, oddly enough, Desperate Dan comics plastered on the wall in the men's toilet. But that doesn't detract away from the way the pub has presented itself. The drinks are a bit steep with a pint of the Jamaican lager Red Stripe, setting you back £4, which is expensive for that beer. "I like the way they have used wooden pallets for furniture décor (hence the name). Staff were very friendly, service was good even though they were busy. Good selection of fries, sandwiches muffins, and the coffee was decent too."
