"Sushi heaven. Hayashi should come with a general warning. I expect dreams of sushi in cold sweating. I watched the place from a quiet, unknown, backward stand to a standard stop for all in Kona. It spread from local surfers who knew it as a good cheap power after a long morning session to a much wider range of cartridges. (the decor demonstrates the overwhelming surf support) You make the role is so much exploded in popularity that you have a wait of at least 20 to 30 minutes during the lunch hours- trust me, it is certainly worth waiting or postponing lunch 'up to about 2. The choices are endless and some sound a bit bizarre (sushi pizza), but they are all winners. If you're a fan of Sashimi, the spicy Ahi role is a must. I add avocado for an extra texture and subtle taste."

"Hidden jewel in Captain Cook, serves fresh delicious products and friendly service. We had the Burrito w/Soup and the Dragon Fruit Bowl and will definitely be back before we go home. Would recommend this place to everyone!"

"Seafood and Prime Rib Buffet is a must!! The Friday/Sat Night seafood and the first-class rib buffet for $34.95 is a great value. You have everything you could want from sushi and shrimp to Clam Chowder and everything you can eat crabbon. The dessert table was also extensive. This is the best value we found on Big Island. Even if you're a guest of King Kam, you can spend 20%."

"We were here at first april 2022. we were talking about the big tree at the front and the owner heard us when we guessed how old it could be. he continued to give us not only information about the tree, but about his retail company, so that the good timing on our side. we had delicious bloody mary 's to start. I had avocado toast. I wish if the farms call it so that it is roasted; especially with toast that has something about it. except what a great breakfast it was. the avocado toast ingredients were so freshly tasted. we all enjoyed our food. as I told people on my Facebook page, yes, it's as good as it looks. oh, the speck taste was excellent! and of course you can't beat this place. what a way to start our vacation. I would definitely go back."
