"I've always loved these chains for brunch and breakfast (I wish they were open for dinner! Anyone who grew up on the Peninsula like myself knows they have the best food, healthy but still savory. This particular location is next to a hotel and everyone at that hotel should definitely eat here!"

"In pursuit of our passports, my wife and I stayed on the way home from a road trip to north for lunch, and to check the property. Unfortunately, in contrast to cities far north, Kalama was still sown with the load of outdoor eating only at the time of our visit, but our table was directly under a propane lamp and comfortably warm, despite the temperature less than 40 degrees. Blankets were provided at the kiosk of the host; my wife took one, just in case. It wasn't really necessary. The lobster sandwich (the real name escapes me, and I can't find it in the menus online, but it was on the menus that were handed over to us was quite solid; my wife loved it, and the sample bite I had quite delicious, but I wasn't particularly hungry. We have excavated their fries for the Good Honest Soup of the day (a beef stew/chili, that was simply enough, hearty, fleshy, spicy. Really good! I accompanied it with a case of Furnace, which is like a modified Hot Toddy, and coupled with the propane lamp above me, I was comfortable warm and satisfied! The Pear Sidecar, which we had at the other McMenamins site, held itself as one of their favorites, although this time there was a strange, very weak copper-like taste (I competed with their assessment that I will write to something in the process of dishwashing. It wasn't enough to be out-putting, but it was there. River views from the back terrace of the pub are picturesque, more than I thought the Columbia River could be, and especially at sunset. Good food, good ambience and the best company (my wife; Your mile can vary depending on who you bring! for a wonderful, relaxing stay on our trip home! Can't wait to come back and stay overnight!"

"Large selection of all vegan foods. the wild mushroom salad is from this world. the avocado blt so tasty comes with sweet potato friries. see them pic. I would suggest sharing many dishes. our waiter was the best. I'm sorry I didn't ask for their name, but they showed us their favorites and they were delicious. great service."
