"The location of this place is perfect for travelers as it's within walking distance of several hotels in a well lit, busy area.The ambiance is really nice as well. They have a couch seating area that was very inviting.The food is ok. Comparable to similar restaurants in the area. The chips and jalapeño queso is fantastic, tho! It was my fave.Service was a bit slow, but nothing worth complaining about. It was overall a very nice experience!The only complaint I have is that I'm sometimes ignorant and did not check the closing time. ? Being named tavern we expected a bar and grill like all the others, closing abt 10 on weekdays. This place closes at 830. 930 on weekends. Just be aware of that! We were not. ?"

"My first visit to this place I had a job to do in the Ft. Sanders area and stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered from the bar and was told I could sit anywhere. Being a very nice day, I chose to eat outdoors on the patio. My Cheddar Baconburger andwaffle sweet potato fries were timely delivered to my table by tha same lady that took My order at the bar. This was around3pm, so not a busy time. The hamburger was delicious! A nice size patty, properly cooked. It was on a fresh bun that wasquite tasty. The sweet potato fries were good also, but the temperature was too low...about 100?. All in all, a goodexperience and recommended. I'll be back"
