"Very much enjoyed a bowl of home-made pumpkin soup and drinks here with my sister from overseas. Loved the old style settings, grecian reliefs etc. Food was reasonably priced. Service good. Amenities in very urgent need of sprucing up, dirty and dripping taps (for years by the look of it). Still all in all a pleasant find."

"Cosy little store with great coffee and tasty waffles. Ordered the breakfast waffles that come with fried eggs and crispy bacon. Pouring the maple syrup on gives you a great sweet meets salty breakfast. Will look to return next time I'm in Katoomba."

"Palette dining does lunch better than anyone in the Blue Mountains. I had a braised speck and baked egg dish with char grilled house baked bread on a cold windy Winters day and it was perfect. Think hearty all day style bacon and eggs... great coffee to boot! Partner had a lean but super tasty chicken salad, kids a beef cheek burger I near wish I'd ordered... everyone super happy."

"Popped into this place after meeting some old friends at the Echopoint and went down to the shuttle stop for a fast bite big little shop/cafe easy lunch drinks and not too bad price Quick service fish and chips very nice hot and crispy (mushy...peas req lol) but the Gravy was ok instead, salad nice and other food looked good from nice place to have a pretty bite chat again"

"Stumbled across this cafe on a recent weekend away in the Blue Mountains and loved everything about it. Mexican influences elevate normal breakfast fare to interesting and delish meals. Took forever to make a decision on what to order as everything looked so good. The breakfast burrito can be served with bacon or kale for a veggie option and was really good. Excellent coffee and friendly service. Reasonable prices too - the breakfast burrito, large juice and small coffee set me back around $24, compared to the boring old standard b'fast at neighbouring cafes which were around the $19 mark without juice or coffee. They have the largest selection of hot sauces for diners I have ever seen."

"Delicious food, cafe staff are very welcoming and hospitable! When we arrived, it looked like it was a very popular restaurant with many regular guests coming for their morning coffee. We had the Croque Madam and the French onion soup and it tasted like my French father made it! Would definitely recommend tasting their French onion soup!"
