"Nice atmosphere and the food selection is interesting. The sandwiches are huge! The Ruben seems to have home made pastrami on it which was great and served warm. Very tasty but I think I could just go half a sandwich next time"

"I absolutely loved it here, the staff were friendly, especially Daniel Zivkovich, one of the owners. I asked about one of the hot sauces on display and he very helpfully explained the background, and ingredients, tastes and info. He told me all about how it was made, and about Unscripted Fermentation, who ferments the chillies and other ingredients. I then bought some of the hot sauce (Pucker Punch) and moved on to ordering. I ordered a smaller Chai Latte, a piece of Salted Vanilla loaf, and a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. All of the food was exquisite, the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. The other staff was very nice as well, I had some good convos about food with them. I highly recommend coming to Barrio, my favourite place in Australia. I recommend getting the toastie specifically, though I have gone back multiple times since my first visit, and also really enjoyed the Golden Curry, though I’m not sure if it’s still on the menu. Hope to see you there, and hope you enjoy it!"

"I usually walk past DD on my way to work and sometimes drop by for a coffee. On this occasion with work, I ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough toast and a latte. We also got doughnuts to share. The eggs and toast were nicely done and coffee was good. However, I always find the doughnuts lacking in texture and flavour, being too crumbly and doughy, definitely prefer the softer Krispy Kreme type. The atmosphere is nice, with an indoor sitting area full of plants. The basket of eggs by the front window is also a nice touch. The service could be faster though. Overall a nice cafe for a catch-up."
