"It was a wait for our order (sandwich and coffee ordered separately, which TBH does not make much sense... BUT it was worth it. I recommend the crack 'N Grind... so good. I would have added a photo, but it was gone. My wife got Ryan's favorite. We both have Mochaccinos."

"Excellent made to order subs, sandwiches, breakfast and more! Love to get a hot open-faced English muffin egg and cheese on after a long night of work. Or a sub to get me through a long day. The coffee is bold and deliciouss; Always fresh and hot. I was introduced to ssd back in college. One of my teammates was local(still is) and got us hooked so every time we came to Ithaca we got SSD. Now I try to make it a regular stop."

"I wanted to try a different hotel while in Ithaca, moving my kid into college apartment and selected the Ithaca Canopy. I was not disappointed. The hotel has a youthful, fun vibe, is across the street from a great bagel shop and is right down the street from Ithaca Commons. When we checked in, Jason was one of the kindest front desk folks I had ever met. He asked me repeatedly if I needed anything, wrote down several food recommendations, and made sure we understood our parking options.The rooms were clean and halls were quiet for the most part. If we needed anything like linens or toiletries, the items were brought to our room quickly. I don't drink alcohol, but I was able to get the best tasting ginger ale from the front desk.I had a chance to speak with Mike who was so down-to-earth and enlightened me about the Canopy brand as well as Ithaca. The restaurant was always crowded for dinner, but Abi found a away to make sure I was able to get the roasted chicken thighs before my departure. Thanks again Abi!I really appreciated everyone's kindness, esp. Jason, Mike, and Abi. Looking forward to more stays the Canopy in Ithaca."

"Possibly the best breakfast sandwiches in Ithaca, I highly recommend The Danby . Every so often I will also treat myself to a fresh muffin and I never regret it. Super friendly staff, even when they have a line out the door. Cute/cozy atmosphere and perfect for my morning commute. This is where the locals go for breakfast/brunch."

"Excellent quality! Due to their fabulousness, they can get pretty busy at lunch time, but it is well worth the wait. Many vegetarian options as well as traditional deli fare. Their baked goods all of them are top notch. My latest taste sensations were the Michigan Hollow and the Anne of Danby sandwiches. I would highly recommend either of these! I can't wait to go back and try out more of their menu. They have a fabulous service ethic to boot!"

"CTB has a variety of vegan options. However, I felt like the vegan choices were overpriced. Most of the menu items are very easy to make — the item I ordered was basically just bread and seitan; not worth $7.95. That being said, it was tasty and the variety of options is hard to beat."
