"Very minimal service. Self-serve kiosks to order food that was difficult for first-time users. Some did help an elderly member of our group use the kiosk. Food was oddly seasoned or meat tasted weird. My group had mostly burgers, and all reported the same odd flavor. Lots of people came in, so others seemed to like it. Fun atmosphere with table games, beer tap walls, and communal bench seating. We don't plan on going back."

"They are very nice people! I was just picking up a doordash order and they asked me if I wanted a drink also so I got iced coffee and it was very good! I went to pay for it and they would not let me so I gave them a tip at least! And they were trying not to let me do that either but I insisted! They are great people here I will definitely be back!"

"I love the baristas that work during the week around 6-6:30am. They’re so nice and fun to chat with for a sec. I come here after the gym and get a non-fat sugar-free white mocha. They use a powdered white chocolate (for both the sugar and sugar-free options) and it makes all the difference. White chocolate syrup (not sauce) is awful lol. I see complaints about the pricing and the wait at times and to that I say, #1 support small businesses, which often, charge a bit more than chains. #2 Starbucks literally presses buttons to make your coffee now. They don’t steam the milk or run the espresso shots themselves.. smaller stands that aren’t giant chains, actually grind the beans for each espresso drink and sometimes multiple times per drink if you’re getting a drink that’s larger than 16oz or more than 2 shots (they come out in 2 shots only at a time), they tamp the freshly ground beans, add the flavor to your cup, run the espresso shots, while simultaneously pouring your milk choice in the tin if it’s a hot drink, steaming it, and then combining it all for you for a delicious drink. Starbucks literally does NOT do those things. That’s why they are able to get your drink in 1 min flat. They add ur flavor to your cup and literally push automated buttons. So if you didn’t allow yourself enough time before work or whatever to wait a few extra minutes then go to Starbucks down the street for your burnt tasting and fast food style drink "

"You can not drive-by the shop and not stop in! What do they make the best? EVERYTHING! Go into the store and breathe the air (it must be through your nose) and you will agree! There is nothing else like it in Litchfield County."

"Nobody makes a better London fog than this place, I swear. Lines tend to get really long but I understand why! I'll say though that their chai lattes are way too sweet for me now, I'm not sure if they changed the recipe. Anyway, lovely baristas too!"

"I've been to this restaurant several times on my trips up to Kent, CT. It was recommended as a go to spot, so I thought I'd see what it was all about. The ambiance of the restaurant is simple and attractive and in colder months, the warm glow from the fireplace keeps this space quite cozy. First time at Swyft, I ordered the Koginut Squash, a half Woodfired Chicken, a side of Kale and the Tarte Tatin for dessert. My first thought after being seated at the table, ordering a cocktail and then perusing the menu I noticed there was no welcoming foccaccia or perhaps an amuse bushe brought to the table and that all the side dishes were for an extra charge, including focaccia. The Koginut Squash was not what I expected. The dish arrived with ample slices of this beautiful roasted squash, sprinkled with some nuts and a very small dollop of sauce for the squash. Digging in with the first bite, I was met with a tasteless and overly oily idea squashing the squashes taste! This oil drowned the entire plate of plentiful squash and only when i dipped two bites of squash in the sauce did I taste any flavor. For me the dish was a fail. The chicken arrived on a large plate and looked lonely on there but beautiful. The kale arrived in an oversized bowl and I couldn't wait to dive in. First bite of the chicken smacked me with an overly smoky taste, blurring out the the taste of this obviously special bird that was cooked to perfection. I thought what a shame. The kale although well oiled and tender, lacked seasoning with the exception of salt. A little garlic could have made this side dish perfect. The Tarte Tatin was disappointing. It presented as skimpy with a single layer of flat overcooked apples on a thin, tasteless crust. Don't bother to order this, waste of money. My next visit to Swyft found me ordering one of my favorite dishes, Cacio e Pepe. I don't see this Roman classic on many menus anymore so I was quite excited. This is a simple dish with limited ingredients and easy to prepare for a chef that knows the dish. This chef did not rinse up to that knowledge. The dish arrived looking tasty but that was it. The portion was small and compared to what it costs to make this dish, the price tag was exorbitant. The first bite of this dish which came out lukewarm, literally had no taste at all. I thought it was me, so mixed it through a bit and then gave it another twirl. Unfortunately, it was not better tasting and was strewn with cooked and undercooked strands of bucatini. I would not recommend this dish and would suggest Swyft remove it from their menu until the chef knows how to properly prepare it.I've ordered Swyft's pizzas many times. I've tried the Al Diavolo, Margarita and Fontina/Thyme pizzas. The pizzas were always good and cooked correctly no burned edges or undercooked crust. Then it all seemed to change this past February. Last few pizzas I'd ordered had burned edges, undercooked crusts with tasteless marinara, less fresh mozzarella and basil on the Margherita. Not even remotely edible. These were take out/pick up orders for me and very disappointing. Taking a long break from Swyft."

"The best part of the tree city are the bagel breakfast sandwiches--so good! the coffee is in order, and they offer a lot of variety, but it is nothing spectacular."
