"This has always been a holiday favourite but it felt extra special this time, so much so we visited several times for Sunday roast and quiz, a drink and takeaway and then a few drinks and a late lunch. Service was great every time, very friendly and helpful, and the pub generally was brilliant with a local but friendly vibe. We've been here many times in the past and it's always been good but this year it felt a cut above."

"Having read good reviews of this place we decided to call in for a sandwich when we visited Padstow, it is tucked away up one of the streets from the harbour area so a little quieter than the mad tourist areas. Not much seating, only one table and a window seat, but they were happy for us to sit there. Really lovely ladies serving, delicious prawn sandwich, plenty of locals popping in and out which is always a good sign! 10/10."

"Beautiful small caffe at the harbour in st ives. great service and friendly staff,Serving hot meals up to 3 o'clock afterwards they then offer cream tees, coffee and cake. they serve the biggest cake I ever had, recommend the lemon meringue. if you are happy enough to get an outside table, they will enjoy a great view of the harbour"

"Little space, but packs a lot. really generous portions this is a photo of the full English breakfast. hubby had the crab sandwich and loved it too, she will definitely recommend to try if they are in the opposite!"

"Extremely accommodating and welcoming cafe on the main high street in Perranporth. All ot food was delicious and well presented. My daughter enjoyed her vegan breakfast served until 1:30) , we also had lovely jacket potatoes, and paninis. Food was prepared freshly. We had individual teapots of tea and the milkshake was tasty."

"SERIOUSLY small dry portions. No love in the food or the service. Unfortunately Cawsand is limited for takeaways so In my opinion these folk are milking this situation. There is however an amazing fish and chip shop in Millbrook with lovely attentive staff and management and absolutely beautiful fresh fish and chips and huge portions!"

"Went for lunch as a stop wile travelling to lands end was great place for kids to let of some energy with walk around the lake including big kid(hubby) wile I had a cream tea and coffee break. Amazingly friendly staff doing a amazing job even with the limitations of a pandemic great job ladies."

"Happened on this pub W route and wanting some lunch. Glad we did as very warmly welcomed and had a nice meal. Lunch menu was based around pub style food with us having BLT baguette and sausage eggs and chips plus nice selection of beers. Ate in shaded part of small garden which was nice on a very hot day. We’ll go again."
