"Loved it! The atmosphere was very casual chic. Busy enough that the energy made it even more fun! And the cocktails, oh my! Words can't describe, you have to taste for yourself. The attention to detail. There was a pineapple leaf garnish on my glass that looked like art! Let's not forget the food! We were starved on arrival but not on departure! Fresh tasty seafood. Flavours were fabulous! Oh! The Pork Belly- is a must try for sure! The staff was super friendly. I could go on.... but u get the idea."

"Bistro Le Coq is not only one amazing restaurant....In fact, it one of Halifax's absolute best. But what makes it the best is not only the food, but the love and spirit it actively demonstrates towards its community. I have not only imbibed in many a cocktail, appetizer and delicious meal there, but witnessed the love and care the staff and management shows it's customers old and new. I am sure this summer has been extra tough going with the closure of Argyle Street for repairs, but I have done my best to show Le Coq my support. Viva fine food, fine hearts and fine times to come."
