"The fact that the place was empty shoud have told us something. We ordered a sausage sandwich and an egg mayonnaise sandwich, as they did not have soft rolls only baguettes. Also two coffees, which were fine. This was for takeaway. When we picked them up and opened the packets, we were amazed. The bread on each sandwich was two inches thick each piece. One sausage inside one sandwich, but no butter on the bread. The egg mayo must have been just a tablespoon inside this huge amount of bread, which did have butter, but nowhere near the crusts. I am only giving it two, as the lady serving was very pleasant. Also it was not cheap. £10.60 for two sandwiches and two coffees seems a lot."

"Absolutely 5stars. We were quite apprehensive having read some of the reviews…but we needn’t have worried. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and hospitable, the place looked great and the food was outstanding. The crispy pork belly…to die for, and the sizzling sea bass was just a dream. We were the last to leave the pub, but no one hassled us to go, and throughout we felt incredibly comfortable. We will certainly visit again. Thanks you everyone for a cracking evening."

"With the pandemic, we have not been able to visit here for a meal so we decided to book for Sunday lunch. I must say, not much has changed. It was a lovely afternoon, the staff were pleasant, the plates were hot and the roast was hot and enjoyable. Thankfully we were not rushed into having to make a decision about a dessert, unlike many other establishments.. Courses are intended to be separate and each one enjoyed. So, thank you for a very nice experience."
