"Great location on Whitehorse Road, Balwyn. Staff were all friendly and helpful deciding on what cake to eat. There is such a variety of cakes and savory, makes it impossible to decide as so much variety. If your looking for a cake for a special occasion there are such varieties to choose from. Prices may be a little expensive but one bite, then it's worth the price. Great coffee and great table service. Saw many locals having coffee and cake or if you want toasted sandwiches as well. Cappuccino was beautiful and such a variety of coffees and teas to choose from. Great fir a catch up with friends and such a great environment. Been to a few different Laurents, but this is my favourite one. Heaps os space to move around. Can't wait fir my next cake and coffee!!"

"Have been ordering here for 3 years. Absolutely loved the parmas and they were our family favourite. First time ordering since management changed and we were shattered. Was like eating a fake chicken Parma from Sofia's or la porchetta. Yeah they were bigger but we through them in the bin! Chicken was rubbish, chips were rubbish, and their amazing chip sauce has gone missing! Lesson in business, when something works.. don't bloody change it!!!! "I visited the shop several times during my 3 month stay in Melbourne last year. The traditional banh mi which I normally ordered was always good. but it is shocking how things have deteriorated so much within a year. During my recent visit to Melbourne, I bought 4 traditional banh mi as lunch for our drive out to great ocean road. the sandwich tasted so bad and the pate has a very strange and bitter taste that I had to throw all 4 away into the bin."

"Very nice place! Good service. We were placed at a very small table and had a 16 dollar daiquiri spilt while trying to make room for the food would have expected a replacement offered but otherwise this place was great!!"
