"Lovely evening drinks. The complimentary nobles were amazing. We even took our 2 year old. So nice to find somewhere we can go for drinks in the evening and our child is welcome. Staff are so friendly. We will definably be going back."

"Tried a breakfast baguette from their new breakfast menu at the Maidstone Lashings Breakfast Launch on Monday.Has to have been one of the best breakfasts that i've had in Maidstone in a long time!Great to see that this restaurant now serves breakfast every day; it's a great convenience on the way to work; and tasted great!If you're looking for a restaurant where you can get a great breakfast at a reasonable price, then I recommend Lashings."

"Quirky venue this place is just as he says on the line. an old fashion barge converted for on board and on river banks. the menu is not long because the more galereed would not allow it, but the selection meets most needs of people. owner and youthful. the owner is very passionate about her caffe. I started with a huh laksa, beautiful when gently seasoned and had a baguette with breakfast ingredient inside. good speck herby sausage and i.e. my mint hot chocolate was very exhausting. my partner had healthier but also delicious food. the inner of the barge still seems very authentic. friendly chatty staff, would recommend."

"The Moonlight Cafe is in Bank Street, Maidstone. A long pathway following a Row of Shops on either Side. It is about 3/4 quarters of the way down on the left hand side before the Canon Monument. They have Indoor Seating and Outdoor Seating. The Staff are very Helpful and Friendly, they will assist one with all of the Customers needs. There are Menus that One can Order a variation of Breakfasts, Burger combination meals and more. Their Prices are very Competitive. They also serve Different types of Coffee, like Cappuccino, etc... When One Sits Outside, One gets the Feeling that the Experience is Welcoming as people walk up and down bank Street. I highly Recommend The Moonlight Cafe."

"Worked all over Kent for years, but only came across the Redstart 2 weeks ago. Dined lunchtime on a Thursday with 4 friends. All agreed that the various choices of meals were superb. Served by a very efficient female European bar person who was readily available when required. In all, a very pleasant dining experience, we will return."
