"Cracking place! Nice breakfast, damn honest price, lovely ladies at the helm and great for a chat. I had a greasy spoon virgin with me (german) and he loved it. Full plate, bottomless tea and buttered toast. If I visit Brum again I will take...the stroll from the city center and stock up in my calories for the day out. Too"

"First time here and it will definitely be the last! Big sign advertising Biscoff milkshakes, but when I ordered it (after being ignored for a little while, same as the customer after me , the server didn 't have a clue what I was talking about! Another girl then said that she 'd make it, to be asked twice loudly do you know how to make it? . I was then charged £5 which seemed steep and when I saw the size of it, I queried it to have another server say It 's £4.70! (which still seemed steep . The initial server replied oh I thought it was £5! and I was offered 30p back but honestly didn 't seem worth the hassle! It was nice, but not great and DEFINITELY not worth the apparent price (who knows if that was just another made up one!? ! The whole thing was just absolutely shocking from start to end!"

"This is a superb old fashioned pub. We had at a table in the Bar with our dog after a bit of a mucky walk from Knowle. The staff were friendly, the prices of drinks and food were good value and the food itself was top class The home made ox tail soup was worthy of top class restaurant although presented in a down to earth manner. The Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato baguette is wrongly described as a light bite I had to get the dog to help me out!"

"Had a wonderful latte with a smiling face, thanks to the super friendly, welcoming warm staff! the second one I went into me was greeted with a big smile that was beautiful. the selection of drinks and dine was brilliant for a coffee shop of its size. the quality is as good as the larger coffee shop brands safe. in any case worth visiting another, and another and another!"
