"The paddock today for a solemn lunch with my mother and sisters. amazing eating (as usual) with a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. the personal is amazing with nothing too much annoying great service! danielle, the manager (do not get his name) and the personal really went beyond and beyond to make our visit special. "The Edge is our go to cafe most Saturday mornings. We’ve not been in for a few weeks now due to other commitments and we are missing our weekly visit. The food is reasonably priced, freshly made and lovely. My usual smashed avocado with smoked salmon and poached eggs with chilli flakes is gorgeous. They even got in a pepper mill to sate my need for cracked black pepper on everything! My wife usually has the breakfast frittata which is fantastic. Friendly service from the lovely staff who are always happy to accommodate any requests. The cafe is relatively small and has a mixture of table sizes and some Pullman type bench seats (which are a little tight for the larger visitors). They get lots of repeat customers so they must be getting something right! We hope to get back very soon- it’s been way too long!"
