"Nice quiet affordable good southern BBQ place. Sit down and take out is available. Staff was helpful and upgraded my tea order to large when they initially forgot to bring it which is appreciated. Would definitely come again here."

"Excellent food and beverage choices in a fun and clean setting. Servers are attentive and friendly and are very good in menu recommendations based on your tastes. Breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of traditional menu items while made-to-order omelettes are also available. I had the chicken skillet which is a good portion for a single person. The potatoes and accompanying menu items were delicious."

"I give them 5 stars because this was our first time and the food was AWESOME! The staff was very attentive, the young boy who took care of us did a great job as well as the other girls! We were going to get it to go but it felt so homie that we decided to eat in and did not regret it! Unfortunately we are from out of town but we will definitely be back! Definitely worth stopping in just remember it's cash only! Very delicious!"

"Delicious dry fenders, I liked the alabama white diving sauce. the collar had a big taste too much edgy for me, but still really delicious. my friend who brought me was there before and had the cats on her visit and said it was great. she had the collar and mac and cheese. connor the manager was super friendly together with our waitress, and really all the workers we met. we were checked on our waitress together with other employees who just came by. I will certainly try others again."

"Everything I ordered was AMAZING. The Crocker fish was seasoned well and fried to perfection. The Mac-n-cheese had great flavor and the texture was on point. The greens were “tasty”. They didn’t have that vinegary taste that I hate. They had a slightly sweet taste which I didn’t mind although I thought I wouldn’t like. The slight sweetness didn’t overpower the savory taste of the collards. I’m glad I ordered them. They were fabulous! The fried green tomatoes were the best I’ve ever had. I liked them because despite being fried the texture of the actual tomato was crisp despite being fried. The flavor of the seasoning used to fry the tomatoes paired well with the tangy flavor of the green tomatoes. One of the greatest thing about my soul food meal was that it was not a greasy mess like most fried foods can be. I loved my entire meal."

"Stopped for some oysters on our way back from Gulf Shores. The chargrilled oysters were excellent. Hard pass on the cheddar and Jalapeño oysters. Good beer selection I went with the Oyster City stout and it was good. They do charge 3.5% for using a card vs. cash I see more businesses doing this."
