"First I want to say that I always read reviews but rarely give them; but this place deserves one because people need to know how good it is. We are traveling from Texas and this is hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The ribs are phenomenal!!! If we ever find ourselves in Savannah, GA… we will be coming back to this restaurant. It’s been the best meal we’ve had so far and the staff was very friendly. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place"

"The best I want to say. most of our expensive and fancy meals loved, but the entire experience of woman wilkes is that I will remember forever. we have connected with people around us while we wait in the line that proved to be great because they sit around them when they get in. Beyond that, eating was incredible and they get to try everything. I had nothing I didn't enjoy very much. make sure they put the pepper hot sauce on their fried chicken and have no fear to say yes if the friendly staff asks if they want more of something. an unauthorized experience."

"I brought a group of 50 seniors to savannah to get out of the ordinary experience. I arranged with savannah square pops to sell us every pop after our trolley tour. it was amazing! each in my group has snapped over the delicious pops and amazing service and fun time we had in their loading. a great thank you!"

"The website is more attractive than the actual location. we had a reservation that did not seem to confirm. that was waiting more than I expected and it was a little deorganized. there was nothing spectacular about this business. some of the foods did not look fresh. on the other hand, the red velvet was the best I ever had: extremely humid. I think they really start this business and there is a lot of work to do to keep a regular and satisfied customers. I will probably wait for a month or so to return and see if there are improvements."

"Here's the BOMB. My husband and I live in the neighborhood and usually swing every weekend to get cookies and candy. I'll tell you the cookies are changing. There are big cookies in Savannah, but these are like magic. Combine a biscuit with butter and her house made jam and *cheek kiss* his sky. I really enjoy the drunk blondes! This place is the best, don't miss!"

"Staff was amazing and got us seated quickly. They are very busy so you could have a wait. Daily special was fried chicken and looked good. I had the gumbo and it was fantastic. Wife had the j pork chop and it too was so well seasoned. We will visit on our next trip.Kid-friendliness: They do have good options for kids."

"Went into this neighborhood and wanted to try the bbq. everything is original recipe and very delicious! I ordered the smoked wings. I replaced makkaroni and cheese for the coleslaw and tried all four sauces. my favorite was the brown sugar boubon. my man ordered the burgertown and felt that it was one of the best burgers he had. everything was super fresh, and we loved the mood of the restaurant."
