"That was nice to eat. I had fish, chips n muddy. the only thing I found wrong was that there were not enough muddy heaps. but this is just a little thing. eating came quite fast, which was good. the employees were busy, but still very committed."

"We visited last night and had a great evening. we booked, although it was probably not necessary, as it was quite quiet. on Monday they can take their own wein without a cork fee that we did. Given the cheapest bottle wein is almost £18 it is worth doing. we thought we had a starter, decided against if he had hit the appetit. we had both cheese and bevel cakes that came with an salat, but we ordered regular chips than a side that should probably really be included as at £3 portioning it took the price to over £16 ever. You could say that this was for essentially cake and chips expensive and I can not argue otherwise, except to say we agreed that it was absolutely delicious. each cake would have served really two people and was full of tasty cheese and whistle filling. the baked was delicious and it was all freshly cooked. we were very full, but I'm embarrassed to say that I have accused a Sicilian lemon sponge with ice. as with the torte it was freshly cooked and resembled a soufle as it was served. again it was delicious my only output was the mere amount of ice that guaranteed it 10 times the amount! the service was excellent from the beginning, friendly, polite and not excessively cumsy or intrusive. it is not cheap night and could cost much more, but we will certainly be back on the basis of our experience."

"Decided to try The Pack as we fancied Italian food. We have a old and so were looking for a child friendly pub/restaurant. The website suggested that it was child friendly and so I booked online, which was a really easy process and gained quick confirmation of our table booking impressed so far. We ordered drinks and were shown to our table pretty quickly. There seemed quite a number of tables but it was intimate enough so as not to feel like we were constantly overlooked. The menu offered quite a number of choices and there were a number of specials on offer too. The menu offered a selection of dishes for children, but our son really likes meatballs which was on the main menu, so I asked if it was possible to have smaller portion we were told this wasn't a problem and the cost of the child portion adjusted, which was great. Sadly, this doesn't always happen at other restaurants and the choice for children is sometimes limited, so we were really pleased that they were so accommodating. We all enjoyed what we ordered starters and mains really tasty and good portion size. Barely anything left on our plates, apart from a few scraps as we were full. happy mum, dad and child! Would recommend and definitely go again."

"The Dog Inn is a community owned and run pub and has some great sounding vegan options on the menu. I was supposed to go before lockdown for lunch, so the first opportunity I got I went for dinner. Starters of onion bhajia with cucumber mint raita and leek and potato soup with bread and vegan spread were delicious and hearty portions. Mains of cauliflower steak, with triple cooked chips, tomato and mushroom were equally as tasty and hearty. We were too full for dessert of chocolate and pecan brownie with vanilla sorbet and honeycomb will have to forfeit the starter next time. Will definitely revisit."

"Much better than pub grub the menu choice and eat are excellent, much better than their average pub grub. the atmosphere is great with very helpful and friendly staff. the open fire was a warm welcome in a cold December night. we had not eaten here for over a year, until just in this week and it was not disappointed that we will make the white bull pub and restaurant."
