"A really nice little bar, and not too difficult to locate. Which is saying a lot, in Guanajuato- the city of winding alleys, hidden gems, and tucked-away awesomeness. This bar is quite easy to spot, and when we stopped by it wasn't too crowded so I'd imagine that getting a spot isn't too much of a chore.We sat by the bar, and the bartender was really friendly. We looked at a selection of beers, and although they didn't have quite a few selections from a menu (something that I've found to be 'a Guanajuato thing') the beers that they DID have were extremely tasty! And the little snacks that they gave us were downright fantastic- a spicy nut blend that went perfectly with our cheves.This place is an Irish-style pub but they don't go 'over the top' with being Irish. It feels more like just a local pub that people hang out at, a place that neighbors go to for knocking back some drinks. The vibe is relaxed, and it's well worth a visit when you're in the area."

"This restaurant has very tasty food, however, the service quality is the worst I have experienced during my travels in Mexico. It took around 20 minutes to get our drinks and another 20 to get our meal. The waiter was very distracted and forgot at...least two things in every our order. The atmosphere inside can be calm but also very noisy, since it has a bar and in the other part of the restaurant, there is a small kids corner. Visit, only if you are too tired to move further from the Holiday inn express where you are staying."

"Finding the historic "Callejon Del Beso" is rather tough but once you've found it and walked past the massive crowds you will see this stylish and unique bar and restaurant. I was completely swept up in the moment of being in Guanajuato and enjoying a historic place with a glass of wine. The menu here is varied and even the chips and sauces served as appetizers are delicious. We chose to site outside to watch the tourists from all over enjoy the "Callejon". If you visit the "Callejon" make sure you go on an empty stomach so you can savor the food, wine, and atmosphere of this hidden gem."

"We stopped to rest our feet and have a late afternoon snack. Salsa and tortilla chips came with the beer. We ordered guacamole as well. It came with a lovely presentation and taste to match."

"If you have read my other reviews, you know that I am on the lookout for veg I fare where ever I go---including Mexico. So, this review is for similar people and may not apply to others. That being said, we will not be going back to here. The 2 choices I had were a salad or a dish described as having cheese and mushrooms. I chose the latter because I wanted something hot. What I got was a cold appetizer foe 4 consisting of 1. cheese , and 2. Canned mushrooms. Oh, and hot tortillas. Everything else about the place was fine."
