"In this month the restaurants in la malbaie have cut back the hours and are not able to find personal; all this in high season. so without a fine dining room reservation of at least three days in advance, the options. are limited so we ended at harvey smoked meat. we are completely impressed by the hard-working owner, who served with an educated and an ever-increasing cash that served two dozen customers in the hour we were there. without its industry, we might have to go back to the subway food store for another picnic dinner. the smoked meat was just as good as montreal's best. but a warning about the homemade fichtebier. the bottle opens like champagne, which pours out most instinct while we believe that the cork still circles the earth."

"Very dark place in a basement of an apartment block. hamburgers, hot dogs, spaghetti and other classics of a snack in the 1960s. We must avoid the hamburger "the daylight". it is a hamburger or the bread from the underside to soak in a brown sauce. very special as wet bread mix with mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and re relis. eurk! fortunately, the fries are good"

"This was our second stay in the auberge des peupliers who explained that we were satisfied with our first visit. it is a bit from the center of lamalbaie that is a good thing, as it is peaceful, and has a beautiful view over the...St lawrence river. the rooms are not large and modern, but very comfortable and come with a reasonable price tag. the bar and the dining area are cozy and welcoming and the included breakfast was wonderful in every sight."

"Very warm welcome, as always. We are told that the service is a little slower this evening since only 4 servers are on duty out of 10!!!!! Amazing! We still agree to enter, with a lot of empathy for them.Finally, with the help of the 2 robots, we saw nothing but fire! Perfect service, with a waitress who had the situation under control. We had a good laugh with the robots, one who asked the wall to settle down haha and another who didn't know what to do because the waitress had forgotten or pressed the button incorrectly to return to the kitchen haha!In short, it's very entertaining for customers and very helpful for the staff.THANK YOU ROSALIE G for your excellent service!"

"Eating was good and affordable for what it was. the apple wine comes from a local obst garden and was very tasty. afteros was a salty moron, but there was a nice amount of cheese. the cheese is of a piousness on the road. The...Waitress/Bar-Zart was very rude and unwilling. it took 10 minutes before they came to see if we wanted a drink and never brought water. later we had to fly a kitchen staff for 2 glasses of water. she never came to see if we wanted to drink something. we saw them to a customer and never apologised us. Their talk was also very rude and unwilling. overall there are much better places to eat in the city. I would only suggest coming here if they are in a budget and/or looking for pub food."
